Some of people say that they have updates, some are not, could you think that we might have some delay broadcasting for this news, cos if im right last month some data centers shows some updates of Backlinks, and after about 2 weeks a large BL updates happen. and now another BL updates again?

Nope, there is always something updating, changing, synchronising etc. It is a continuous process which makes looking at pointless metrics such as number of backlink, toolbar PR and rankings for some random phrases even more futile.

Google never shows all your links. Just a random sample. If it's showing 0 you probably don't have a lot, but chances are Google knows about some.

Yahoo is a much better check of backlinks.

Chris is really right though. Knowing your PR or how many backlinks you have isn't important. It shouldn't change anything you do and the numbers you get are a lot less relevant than they seem.

It seems that the BL update is still underway. SearchBliss was 315 to 476, but now it shows 315 to 490. The BL's seem to keep increasing. I've never seen this before???
