Google has one of my sites indexed as 123.0.0.1/file.htm rather than www.site.com/file.htm. Does it matter and is there anything I can do to get it changed if it does?

You could block googlebot from indexding your pages. I am not sure of the best way to do this because I think you can do it in your meta tags.

What good would blocking Googlebot do? At least at the moment I'm getting traffic from Google.
Someone suggested I redirect via .htaccess as follows

Redirect 301 12.12.123.456/ http://www.widgets.com

Options +FollowSymlinks
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST}!^www\.widgets\.com
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.widgets.com/$1 [R=permanent,L]

Is this code correct?

If it's just one page, I wouldn't worry about it. The Name Server was probably down when they crawled the page.

Have you doubled check to see if that page might also be listed with it's proper name?
