Has anyone noticed that google's link count for any given domain is different (usually lower) than the link count on Alexa. I know that Alexa is virtually irrelevant, but why would there be such a disparity.

I didn't know Alexa has a link count.

Google does not show all links. Their page describing the link: tool says it shows all the links, but it does not. I emailed them about this and their reply was that it is just a "sample", (their word).

I heard I dont know if its just a rumor, but I heard it only shows websites with a pr of 3 and above? I dont have many links yet so I cant determine this, but can anyone eles. Also sometimes at the bottom of the site there will be a link that says search again with ommited results included, but these are all the subdomains that link to you from the root website.
