hi i recently completed a web site for a resort based in Goa. They previously had a 1 page site consisting of **very bad html** and no SEO. The page recieved a PR1 from google.

the new site has replaced the existing one over 1 month ago and i can see from my sitempa account that the site has been crawled by google yet only the home appears in google searches.

searching for the site:www.resortmellorosa.com in yahoo or msn returns all my pages so its with google that im currently struggling.

any ideas?

Well it means that your site hasn't been fully crawled by Google you just need to wait for few more days to see your full site in there.

Hi jaguar-archie15 id appreciate if you can elaoborate on your post? Ive submitted the site to a number of places. However most travel sites seem to want to advertsie the resort upon their own site and take bookings themselves instead of linking back to me.

Thanks

Google seems slower in showing the changes, leave it another 2 months and see what happens then.

I had a flash site (yes i know they suck) that I changed to a content rich blog, i was getting 70 visitors a day from google at about the 2 month mark, then bam 30 a day due to some changes I made then bam 200+ a day now at about the 3 month mark since I changed the site to have content.

Yet my MSN and yahoo have been pretty constant (and incedentally pretty low)
