Hi, all,

Just new here. I am not a SEO guy but i know some stuff and implemented a lot of content into my site using xml. All friendly but i seemingly forgot one thing. I placed a javascript redirect to my index2.html which is the starting page of my shop.

On index.html there was the javascript redirect which caused google to send me an email that this was against the guidelines, also because there was hidden text in index.html.

Now as i fixed things and no scripts of redirecting and hidden text are present, i created an account at google and added my site into sitemaps, in where i filed for a reinclusion request to get my site back in.

What i am wondering, is how long it takes to get back in? This is the first time for me my site is being penilized, and I lost about 90% of my valuable traffic.

I sent an reinclusion request that i am very sorry, never do it again, but is there a chance they won't let me back in?

Greetings,

Tom

The time is up to Google. If you've honestly removed everything that's against their guidleines they should let reinclude your site, but again it's at their discretion and it could take a few months. They don't really like people trying to manipulate their index or search results.

You will need to remove everything though, nit just on the one page that was at issue. If you're using hidden text on other pages it's likely you'll still have problems with them.

Make sure the site is as clean as can be and then wait. The truth is you did something that was against the rules and got caught. Now you have to deal with the consequences.
