Does Using "allintext:" Return Your Site To The Top 10?

Example:

Using keywords "Juarez Mexico", search Google and note the top ten results.

Now search using the above-referenced Google operator, which is suppose to restrict the search to body text: "allintext:Juarez Mexico".

In my particular case, these are the exact results which were being returned for months and months before the January 24th update, with my site, the Juarez Tour Guide, in the number two spot right behind the American Counselate.

Now search for "intext:Juarez Mexico".

The are the exact results you obtained from your first search, using no special operator.

I just find this highly interesting and three other web masters whose sites disappeared on January 24th have verfied that when they use "allintext:" the results are pre-January 24th.

I just wondered what comments the forum might have about this oddity.

To me, these specialized searches mean nothing, all that really matters is how your site ranks when real users do their searches.

I totally agree. I just thought it was strange that the old results reappeared.

Yes, what matters is where you rank in the real results, however the allintext tool can be useful if you are looking for relevant link exchange partners for your keyword (especially if Google is also using topic sensative PR).
