I'm considering using Linksmanager to automate my link building process. I want to get some feedback from you guys:

Are you using Linksmanager?
If so, is it a good tool?
Are there any solid alternatives?
Do any of you have an original script that automates the link building process?

I was toying with the idea of making my own script that would automatically generate outbound link on my web pages. Does anybody do that right now?

We use LinkManager here and for $19.95 a month, I find it far worth it (especially when combined with LinkPartners). I recommend customizing it as much as possible though to make it look unique. However eventually I'll cancel the account and just add them manually (to the existing directory).

Thanks for the feedback. I actually found a software package that is supposed to do exactly what linksmanager does, but it only costs $15.99 (one time only!). I'm going to test it on some of my sites. I'll let you know if its any good.
