Link farms arent bad as everyone has said. They are just another meanless link. They dont help your pr or send you any visitors. Just thought I would give you my opinion of link farms.

what happens if you link to them? I was going to do this until i buily up some decent links for a few of my sites.

Google can't penalize you if a 'bad' site links to you but they can if you link to the 'bad' site.

I lost my PR4 and over 1000 back links for linking to LinksToYou.com

I never again received a visitor to my site from google.....

Link Farms or (FFA's) are bad news.

Google will penalise if not ban you if you are associated with them.

I am afraid that thevirus had given you some ill judged (no offence intended) advice.

DO NOT associate yourself with them unless you would like to see your site removed from the Google index. It is no certianty that you will be removed, but your chances will be greatly increased if you are associated with FFA's.

I would not take the risk.
