Well it appears that after the dust has settled on this latest google update that I have remained intact with my rankings.

Ive managed to now get page 1 listings for serveral search terms whereas previously I was page 3+. My PR has settled down and is now a round 5 wherever I check.

Work still needs to be done (like getting my other pages upto page 1) but I'm happy now that I have learned some of the best practices on this topic.

Thanks to all who shared their wisdom.

Can I get in on that bill? I put in 35 hours of time.

I think I'm still seeing my PR bounce around, but I can't say I've really been paying attention so for all I know it's settled.

Surely the successfull result is payment enough. (cheeky %*^%*&^*^).

I'll be in N America next summer if you can find me the beer is on me. If not I'll be back in 2013 visiting Fort Niagara (Dec 18th).

I'll get the beers in if you show me where to get some home comfort

Oh and i dont drink no week slosh either (made with yorkshire water preferably).

Cheers
Ibbo

PS.

Tried to dish out some TP to you both but would not let me give ADAM any. So I also owe you TP too. (**** this forum is costly)

Unfortuantely I'm about 2000 miles from Fort Niagra. I used to live nearby when in college at the University of Buffalo. If you make it down to Buffalo definitley have some wings. Nowhere in the world makes them better.

The beer will be stronger in Canada if you go up to Toronto and check out Adam's signature. I do believe he lives in Totonto. Fancy that.

By the way how do you know what day in 2013 you'll be visiting Fort Niagra? I'm not even sure where I'll be tomorrow. I'll be lucky to even know it's 2013 when it gets here.

Dec 18/19th 2013 will be 200 years after my old regiment stormed and took fort Niagara during the war of 1812.

Of course I would like to trawl around the whole Niagara region aswell (they took part in most campaigns in that region) its just that we have the old French fort as our logo so it perhaps makes sense to visit on the 200th anniversary.

I'm a fully fledged member of many boozing societies and I fully intend to sample all the local delights If you can keep up your welcome to join the party.

Cheers
Ibbo

That makes sense. I guess it had to be a special date in order for you to have plans that far out. Just a guess, but you weren't with the regiment during the war were you?

Ha ha ha ha If i was that old I would have been granted land in upper Canada or summat and married a moose or two (or hooked up with the local tribe and gone native) then married a moose or two

I still get drunk on Niagara day though (19th Dec)
