I just found out some good news. It seems google and some other sitemap supporters have created a new standards for sitemaps. They've created a website with all the info it's at:

www.sitemaps.org Just click on protocol for all the layouts.

That's another step for SEO. Finally, the search engines are giving people direction and forming a standard that designers can follow to improve their site pagination.
