yahoo has finally ditched google results and currently use there own algo. This is a huge change and means optimizing for both search engines. You are #6 for the keyword webmaster forum by the way . I dont like there new algo I think it sucks needs some tweaking.

I wouldn't panic just yet. The Yahoo algo looks a lot like the Google one. I see similar rankings for many keywords.

I am getting higher results on Yahoo on many of my keywords. I think google is over applying the spam filters. Google results haven't been as good.

I am Glad that Yahoo has finally switched from Google results. They are a mixture of Inktomi listings with their own algorithm.

For those of you that don't know, Yahoo purchased Inktomi, Altavista, Fast (AlltheWeb), and Overture several months ago.

Google needed some competition!
