Last couple of hrs I wasted submiting my google sitemap to google but what is the result?????

ZEROO everytime it is giving me an error saying "Unsupported file format" ....

I know I have created it right but the problem is happening bcoz of invisionfree. Does anybody know how to submit google sitemap while staying in invisionfree

it is easy to submit a sitemap on G, do you follow the procedure corectly? didnt get really your point about your error

is your sitemap XML?

or try to restart your windows and submit your sitemap again....

the problem is that i am using invisionfree forum.... so i dont own the top level domain. so what i did was uploaded the xml file in the forum and submitted the link to google.

Is that right? or i need to do some thing else? anyone please

Search google for "google sitemap creator" and there are free ones that will spider your forum for free and then save it and just upload to www.yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml

make sure you save it as .xml

and some free sitemap creators have a limit on how many pages, so find one that doesn't. Shouldn't take too long.

Thats the problem Zack, You see you asked me for a file extension like sitemap.xml but with invisionfree we can't create those.

With invisionfree the extension could be like

z3.invisionfree.com/someforumname/index.php?act=SR&f=51

any suggestions????

Have you tried to copy the feed as a static xml file?

can u explain a bit..how t do that?

Just copy and paste the source from the feed into a new file saved as a xml file.
