You're not going to get any traffic from them since they're not relevant and chances are big G's already gotten the theme of the sites figured out anyway.
It probably won't do you any harm if you don't link back to them and you don't own them (you can't control someone else's site, right?) but it probably won't do any real good.
i could agree with stOx, but you can also make an experiment - watch your PR rise, fall or stay the same after couple months since that irrelevant-high-PR site linked to you. only then you'll see has your traffic increased or has your PR changed to good.

i might not get the benefits on SERPs by getting high PR and relevant links, but you will benefits on traffic.... for having a quality but not relevant links...
if your target is pr then it's good. and if you are doing for ranking in search engine then it depends on the page where your link is listed, in this case your link most probably should be in correct category or the links on that page must be relevent to your services.
that's all i have seen or done and got the result.
