In a recent development Microsoft started giving free domains if you signs for office Live basics beta. Does Google has any such plans or they are already providing similar offers.

No, and the only reason Microsoft offers it is because they get to track EVERYTHING you do, including getting your credit card number.

Somebody doesnt trust Microsoft

I haven't heard anything about it. I doubt google would give free domains seeing as how they don't really have a reason too. Geocities is pretty old and office live is very new so they require a start up group.

There are many who doesn't trust everything that Microsoft provides. I also think that this is just an efort on Microsoft's part to push things up a bit since they are chased everywhere by Google.

I just think big international comapnies like MicroSoft (i hear booing...) and Google should start provide more free services. Microsoft (i so know this will be argued against) always have a catche where u have to pay insomeway. will downloads they now making it so only people who have microsoft os can download certain things.

Microsoft make more money than they can count every day. they are the leaders in Os software, which they charge well over £200 for. (i know some will say that they have peopel developing it etc etc and they deserve it. BUT i very much doubt anyof the money actuall goes to the developers etc. why is there litterally 100's of FREE OS's availble, which i will point out can be downloaded with out having to tell them how many hairs you have on ur head. and your location with 2 feet.
