How long it takes for Google to index your pages depends on several things. It depends on how easily they can spider your site and how many other web pages are linking to yours.
Use text only links on your site so the spiders can crawl the site easier and try to get other sites to link to yours.
If you do both it usually only takes a week or two for many of your pages to be indexed.
