Duplicate content and images

I have recently developed a site where probably 80% of the content is images. I also allow the user to click on any image and see a big version of that image with just the site heading and a return button.

To make the addresses more user friendly, I have used addresses like www.mysite.com/bunchofflowers.html. There are loads of them (obviously underneath it is all common code with a mod rewrite) It has just occured to me that Google might see them all as duplicate pages (they all have slightly different meta data and image alt text, but the actual displayed page is the same)

Does anyone have any thoughts/experience on this - will Google take any notice that the images are different, or will it see the pages as duplicates

Thanks

Judy

If you can make it more unique than this it would be better.

Can you change the design a bit more?

CAn you add in a new footer navigation to site b ?

Can you make the pages use more content on site b ?

These are some simple changes to make website B more unique.

for whom ?

Things can't be more unique. They are either unique or not

Don't even worry about it, if the SEs consider the pages duplicate they won't be shown in the serps. NO HARM TO YOUR SITE WILL BEFALL FROM IT !!

Google can't read images, so don't worry about it. But why you do like this? Does it help you?

Webfu - I think you have misunderstood. The pages are on the same site.

Hhheng - I do it because
1) It improves usability. Pages have a consistent look and feel and an easy URL
2) It's easier to maintain. Same code, shared by all pages

Chris - thanks for your help. I have tried to up your talkupation, but apparently I have to give some to someone else before I can give you any more!!!

Yep, totally.

I thought you were talking about using two different websites.
