I'm new to addsense, and would like some opinions on the add placement on my site.

http://www.thespeedread.com

I've read google's optimization article and tried to stick to that as best possible without destroying too much of my layout.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i have a quick one for you
place the 90*468 banner ads under the title of the first article... if your article title is catchy, most likely you will get a click
if it helps, rep appriciated!

Hmmm... okay, but which add do i give up? I think you are only allowed 3 adds + i link block.

Not sure i follow:

"if it helps, rep appriciated!"

Not sure what you meant by that?

Andy you're best bet is to set up channels at AdSense and then see where the ads work best. They look fine from what I see, but different sites will have success in different ways. By setting up channels you can measure where the ads work best for your site.

Okay, I have added the channels, now i'll sit back an monitor the results.

How long does one usually measure this, a month? Would that be fairly representative?
