Hi Guys, please help my confusion.

I have a site that has it's own Domain Name, and that domain name has been submitted to Google among many other search engines, now I decided to add 3 more domain names incase of spelling mistakes etc that link to the exact same site. Should I now go and submit those to Google and the others the same way I did the first time or is there a way of letting them know that the same site that has already been crawled and indexed should fall under all 4 domain names. If im on the wrong track here then what would you suggest I do.

Thanks

You need to put a 301 redirect into your .htaccess files for the new domains.

You have to use parked domains. And you have to publish only your main domain name and get backlinks for those url only. Then there will be no problem. If you already implement several sites with several domain names with same content. G will consider it has duplicate content and index only one domain, and it may be the domain name you don;t want google to index. I mean domain with less backlinks and main domain may consider as duplicate content site.

So best way is, use parked domains and use main domain name for getting backlinks and media purpose. Another point is you don't have to submit to SEs instead submit to directoires and get inlinks. So G and other SEs automatically index your sites pages. There are other thread regarding this submission issue. Read those.
