Google Appears to Crawl My Site But Not Index

Hi,

I have submitted re-inclusion requests twice. I saw in the logs that someone with a Google referer visited my site and checked a few pages but no avail. .

I do have a sitemap. Based on the crawl rate chart, Google appears to be crawling. However, my site is still not indexed.

Should I change a hosting company?

Thanks.

I think it should take some time for the index to appear.

But I have seen sites which are crawled and indexed very fast by Google, maybe like in 1 or 2 days.

Looks like you're drinking from the fountain of misinformation, and no host is going to help you in this regard. If you're being crawled, that means you're being reached. If you're being reached, that means your hosting company is doing its job (probably).

http://www.bcybookloft.com/sitemap.htm <--- this is your first mistake. A lot of the titles for those links (and their subsequent page titles) look very spammy. Would you want to visit those pages as a user? I know I wouldn't.

2) You don't actually appear to be offering anything. It just looks like affiliate links that are thrown together in a "comparison shopping portal." Big G tends not to like sites like these, and who can blame them?

3) You've got scraper pages for Dog Breeds and Asian Culture. Why? They have nothing to do with your site.

Simply put, you're not offering anything that should be indexed in the first place. What you need to do before worrying about being indexed is to worry about building something users can derive benefit from. If you solve that, the SEs will come.

What's a "scraper page?" Sounds bad.

A year ago VanGogh posted a link to Google's blog, he pointed to the thread recently, and there's some very interesting, important stuff in there. Basically, this is exactly the kind of stuff Google is looking for to frown on.

A scraper page is a page that has just grabbed content from one or more sites and is republishing it, often without the original content creator's permission.

Look at the sitemap Adam posted and click a few random links. Pretty easy to see none of it is original content, but it's all be stolen from other sites. There's really no reason to index the OP's site since all those pages have likely already been indexed as the pages where they originated.

Is the link you're referring to the Indexing timeline post from Matt Cutts?

Yes, and I think everybody would do well to read Matt's post, and his replies underneath. It seems to answer this question.

John: www * bcybookloft.com/dog-breeds/Sitemaps_and_RSS_Feed/Index1.htm <--- that, my friend, is a scraper page. It's just content stolen from other sites.
