I want to write a case study on the acquisition of youtube by Google.. Does anybody know where i can find that ? I need to address following issues:

What was the rationale of the merger?
Who were the key players?
What role did investment bankers perform in the transaction?
Do you think that the M&A was successful?

The key players were Google and YouTube. Investment banks probably didn't have much role, Google showed they don't like them when they went public. Not surprisingly, Google is a great place to go for this type of information.

LOL! Are you saying Google isn't just a free stream of potential customers, but a source of information, too? Nah, can't be true.

i think u need to find more press release for these information.

basically, G want to take over everthing. its a marketing/competitive strategy. take it, or ur competitor take it.

May be you'll get this information from news, IT or industry related news blogs else you can go to the google community forum which is not from the G family but you can always put your questions and hopefully you'll get some source from there.
