I need a little help testing my skill. Suggest a keyword and I will write an article and attempt to optimize it to the top. No big keywords like "auctions" at this point.
Anybody?

Good suggestions guys
"Article submission" Might be a good one for refference I'll cheat on this and put on WT's blog.
"Las Vegas wedding chapels" I think I'm going to do this one. Just for grinns I'll even add a Las Vegas wedding chapels section to my web directory.
"Wellington Boot" is this one you had for an SEO job? Wellies are kinda ugly but they look practical for clam digging or duck hunting. I might do this one just because.
"Search Engine Optimization" That one will require a monetary investment so it is out at this time.
I'll get back to this with some pages.
Anyone else?

heh sweet, mine was first.
A little word of advice, and I mean this: spell check your article. There are a number of errors (mostly typographical, I think) that reveal themselves when one glances at the article. (And I think you meant Cosmos for the drink.)

So this brings up a good question. How do people spell check their content before uploading it?
I ask because I think I could use some help in this department. I set up my page, copy just the text into Word, run the spell check, then copy the text into Notepad to get rid of all the formatting, and then move it back into my page, which is a pain with all the markup that gets interspersed in the content. Paragraph tags and the like.
And for webspace, are you still taking suggestions? I have a competitor I'd like you to squish like a bug, can I give you his keywords? ( Just kidding! )

I type my original content into Word, spill and grammer chukk it, then I have a Word to HTML editor that I built for myself (approx. 95% accuracy, so I have to spend maybe 15-20 minutes fixing up the code and Bob is my uncle.)

OK, there were a few spelling errors, They are fixed.
Yeah, I tend to do that when I am writing for my blog. It's so easy to just ramble on with writing then just post it with the editor. Mine doesn't have spell check. Word is a good idea.
I'll just edit this post so as not to post two consecutive posts.
chrishirst I wrote a short on Wellington Boot. But wasn't sure if you meant the horse races or the shoes. I went with the shoes because I don't know much about horse racing. Everybody needs shoes though.
wellington-boot
I am writing an investigative type article for WTs blog on Article submissions. It will be available when get some research done and I can make a good review.

I'm terrible with spelling, but the new FireFox hides that for me. And it doesn't have the kind of annoyances you guys are talking about with Word.
Adam: Have you released your Word cleaner? I bet that would be a popular tool. I've known people ( as in plural ) who build entire sites in Word. A friend asked me to give her some feedback on her site, and each page was 400 to 600 KB, just for the markup. She thought she just had a slow server.
WebSpace: How about UtiliKilt? I can get you some photos if you'd like, they're a few miles up the road in Seattle. And NPR just did a story on them a few weeks ago. Pretty bizarre, but then so is Wellington Boot.

Ok sounds "UtiliKilt". That's funny becuase there were alot of guys wearing kilts in town today. When I say alot I really just mean there was a scottish band and then I coincidentally saw another guy in kilt all within about half an hour.
Photos would be great. I'll PM my email address

Forrest: I couldn't. It's based off an editor I bought the rights to (then hacked the code to bits), so I'd likely be in violation of copyright if I did.
And even if I could, I'm not sure I would. Gotta have some competitive edge.
