I have recently added Google map on my home page and various other pages thinking that it will increase the credibility of my website(from user point of view), but only one JS file is about 51 KB, which increases my total page size and obviously effects the load time of my website.

What do you suggest should I continue with this or remove Google maps?

If there is no real reason for having google maps on your pages you should get rid of it.
I doubt anyone would go to your site to use google maps when they could just go to google maps it's self.

Yeah, and unless you're a js programmer, being able to use the API to put maps onto your home page isn't likely to impress people or make them feel you're more trustworthy.

On the other hand your browser will cache the java code so I wouldn't worry too much about its size.
