Hi;

As Everybody learnt , similar description and title is big reason for supplemental pages.

Think this is an example for content pages ;

Title : x
Description : x (from section name - category name ) . Information about x . The description of x . What does x mean ?

Do you think this title and description is similar from point of googlebots view?

Thanks

No, not if X is a subject you're writing about. Taking your avatar for example, if I'm writing a page on cats, it's only natural the word "cat" will show up in the title, and several times in the page body text.

Nope we haven't learned it at all. There are several reasons pages go into the supplemental index. Duplication is only one of those reasons.

i mean one of the reasons.

let me give one more example .

think this , you have two pages one of them is related with cats and the other is related dogs .

The title of the cats page is "Cats"
Description of the page is "Cats (from animals - cats ) . Information about cats . The description of cats . What does cats mean ?"

the title of the dogs page is "dogs"
Description of the page is "dogs (from animals - dogs ) . Information about dogs . The description of dogs . What does cats dogs ?"

are these two titles and meta description similar from point of googlebots view?

thanks
