except gmail has a spam filter, so I think google would filter that out, however an email recommending one site seems to work

It sounds like to me it would take me 3 months to create all these blogs to meet a goal of being listed in google in 24 hours.

it took me 10 minutes.

just make one blog and then copy what you have written into the other 4 or 5.

This works becuase I have done it,but why not just use Google webmaster tools and submit a site map to Google and increase crawl rate. Thats what worked best for me . Of course I'm noob who has no idea what he is doing . could be possible I'm getting hella lucky.

Yes, getting listed is much easier than he suggests. Ranking well, on the other hand...

I recently launched a new website and made sure i had good content, created a sitemap.xml, registered the site in google webmaster tools and submitted the sitemap to google. It was indexed within 48 hours and after 3 months i can see good rankings on SERPs with no PR yet. Just goes to prove Content is King.

The trick is to write good content, use ethical web site promotion techniques and have patience.
