Yeah I agree that a PR of 2 is pretty weak, and yeah I agree with the one post, get rid of your scripts, and then reload and re-cache. Did you do that already?

the google PR updates only 4 times a year, so on the next PR, which is probably going to be in the next few weeks, you should have a number there
(0,1,2,3,4,5 ...)
Internally Google has probably already calculated the PR you are going to get ....
