I NEED HELP

My new site http://www.spiceupyourlifenow.com was coming along fine with all the search engines; I had a PR of 1 soon after I launched it.
Now my PR is down to 0 and some sites that still give me a PR1 say it is a fake PR

site:www.spiceupyourlifenow.com works fine but
info:www.spiceupyourlifenow.com or cache:www.spiceupyourlifenow.com for my site , it picks up some fire department site wwfd.org.
I did a whois on this site and it is hosted by the same company that host my site but on a different server.

Any help I get from you experts on this matter will be appreciated.

I am new to all this so please be kind.

I can't see this as being a hosting issue, since the site does work when you click the link as a user.

My guess is that there's some sort of 301 redirect in your code for Google specifically. I'm not sure why it would lead to a fire department site, but dumber things have happened.

Thanks for answering,
I do not think there is any 301 redirect for google in my code.
Can you suggest how to go about trying to fix this?

Thanks

I'm not sure if they would in this case. It's possible that Google has made a crawling error, but not overly likely.

If you don't see any code for a 301 redirect, try asking your web host if they're doing a redirect on their end (possibly through .htaccess). That's about all I can think of.

Has anyone owned the domain before you? Perhaps when you took over, there had been a redirect in place, and when the hosting was set up, this was just recently taken down? If that's the case, it might just be a matter of time for Google to correct.

No this domain was not owned by any one before.

I just got off the phone with my host and they assure me it is a google issue.

I don’t know how to get in touch with google, or if I even can?

Well, you can send them a note and they can choose whether to respond or not - or to even open it. I've never had to do this myself, so I can't tell you from experience what to expect. But I've heard from others that Google is more responsive than you might expect, when they truly need to be.

Out of curiosity - and don't feel obligated to answer if you don't want to - how long have you had the site, and who is it registered and hosted through?

I'm pretty ignorant about different hosting services, but that info may help someone who knows more on the subject answer your questions.

Personally I wouldn't worry about it. Just appears to be a glitch from how the host company have had DNS setup at some point.

A site: search shows no ill effects apart from you are going to have problems with session IDs and https URIs being indexed.

That is what you should be doing something about, not 3 month old cache data or a useless info: search that nobody other than you will ever use.

iPowerWeb's your host? That explains it. Those guys are awful. I wouldn't be surprised if they had you on another server at some point and just mispointed you.

agree with Adam,

iPowerWeb as a host explains it all.

Be careful when you pick a hosting company, there are some shady things going on out there in the hosting world.
