Is it possible to submit pages to that in any way?

I believe they pick up stories on thier own from a selection of sources.

I'm pretty sure Stox is right on this. If you could get your story published by AP, Reuters, BBC, CBC, or someone like that, Google News will automatically pick it up and run it through the algorithms. Otherwise, though, I think they assume anything important enough to be called news will end up being published somewhere.

To get listed on Google Images, I had to put some img tags into my pages that people were interested in. To get into Google Video ... well, I'm not listed there.

I have noticed that google checks the feed on my blog every day. I would just put a link in your meta info link mine
