It is very frustrating for me now as however hard I tried to find the
reason behind the sudden drop of rankings of all my websites, I am
still not able to make out where is the problem. I own 5-6 websites
(to name few- www.love-lectures.com , www.womendatingmanual.com ,
www.datersmanual.com) which were hosted on asmallorange server for the
time being. But now I have noticed all my websites have dropped their
rankings and almost disappeared from google though the pages are still
in the google index.


I am not able to figure out where I went wrong though I have always
followed the seo guidelines and never involved in any of the
activities which may harm my search engine rankings. My site
www.love-lectures.com ranked 3-4 for the keyword "free relationship
advice" but now I am not able to locate my listing for this keyword.
Is that my server? or is it me? who should be blamed for, though I
have shift all my websites from one host to another host. Will that
work? or is there anything else that I need to work upon.....

Any help would be highly appreciated!

The web site you mention as ranking 3-4 in google for "love relationship advice" is now #56. Wait a few days and see if it settles back into it's former position.

But I am not able to understand why there is such a huge drop in my rankings for all my websites that were hosted on that server..... would I consider is that my host is being infected or is it all because of some other reason? please advice!

You may well be right that the move to the new host is affecting your rankings, kruzman, but not in the way that you're thinking.

Check your sites thoroughly. You'll find that a number of pages are blank or non-existent. That's the first thing.

The second thing I'm wondering isn't why your site dropped, but why it even ranked in the first place. This has MFA stink written all over it...a low-content site designed to dump ads in with the usual "SEO" tricks along the way (reciprocal link exchanges being the biggest offender, since they're about as useful as manboobs.)

Manboobs are useful for, uh, well, let's see. I guess for having built-in flotation devices. That way if you're even in a plane crash over the ocean, you don't have to take your chair apart.

Google doesn't care about hosting, they care about content.

And spam, and quality. There's been some rumbling underfoot. Google has spent the last few months making some big changes that have improved the quality of their search results. A lot of things that used to work, like paid links and manboobs, are dieing out. There's been a lot of anger in the "SEO expert" world over it.
