This is my first post here, so hi everyone.

I have owned a domain name for over a year (free-window-estimates.com) and I have just found it is being used by a lead generation business in their Adword ads. At the bottom of their ad is MY website address. If you click on this address, it doesn't go my site of course, it re-directs to theirs where they procure leads to sell to contractors.

From what I've seen, they are using my domain name on 50% of their adword ads, and using my great domain name to make a lot of money. I talked to them on an online chat from their site. They told me first to reset the cookies on my computer and that would fix it, ..and after that they said for me to prove there were links from their site to mine...huh???....morons.

What would you do if you were me? What types of recourse do I have?

Not a bad domain, I would make a content site, and make a network containing one full niche' then put this network on either affilate or adsense and start earning some decent cash off of it. While leaving open the option of selling the network to pay for your next one to be built.

You don't have a screen shot of the ad, do you? I'm not sure what you're talking about, exactly, and I'm wondering how they plan to make money by using someone else's web address?

They are using my domain name as if it is theirs, but when you click on the web address at the bottom of their ad, it goes to their site. If you actually type in the domain name, it forwards to one of my sites like it's supposed to.

The best thing is to complain to google.

You can file a complaint with Google but you have to ask yourself: is this a good or bad thing? This is promoting your site if visitors are seeing your web address. Some visitors will rather type the URL rather than clicking on the Google Ad, some will see but not click, and remember the URL featured in the ad.
