What's the difference between "regular links" and "anchor text links?" I think text links outnumber image links on the web by quite a bit ... you're still supposed to use text in your navigation, because spiders don't read text in graphic files. So ... by virtue of being a link with text, I most "regular" links have anchor text.

Also, people can vote here, but Google might not change their algorithm to match the election results.

If you're going with Google PR, then there's no opinion. It's all backlinks.

I'm sure this is far from what he was thinking but maybe the only thing that came to mind was using descriptive text, versus a "click here" method.

There are minor changes to Googles algo every few weeks if not more often, and there are major changes 2 or 3 times a year.

And in actual fact, the most important element you haven't even mentioned!!

Yes Google Algorithium often changes, although this comment was aimed towars someone saying "Google Algorithium is not going to change according to this poll". No that Google's Algorithium never changes , because I'm sure it does.

I have taken many search phrases and keywords, made multiple times of income earning websites, and currently am earning a nice income working from home.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. And with all the spam you put out, it's not exactly earth shattering news you can rank for uncompetitive phrases.

Anything I write I spellcheck on my websites before putting up, so compairing here and there is like compairing American's Income to China. I am an american =). Anyway If you don't want to take part in the poll feel free not to.

China owns most of America's debt. What does that have to do with a domain name, content and links that do or don't have anchor text?

Nothing a more userful of my post are where someone needed help go tell me I told him the wrong thing. I was just making a simple comparison.
