I decided I wanted to check my site's PR, and I got different results for variations of my site's name. For example, I tested the following versions:

http://www.toptenlisted.com = PR 2
www.toptenlisted.com = PR 1
toptenlisted.com = PR 3

Why would they be different?
Do these different numbers mean that they are weakening my site's power through division by name?
Should I somehow set all my pages, links, etc. to the last example, because it has the highest PR?

PS: The site I used to check it was www.pagerankprediction.com, if it is that legitimate of a checker.

No, it's not, and you shouldn't pay any attention to its foolishness.

But to answer your question, you listed three different URLs, so of course it's only natural you'll see three sets of PR. They could be the same, or they could not, but each gets assigned on its own merit.

Use 301 redirects to sent all versions to whichever you prefer.

Actually, it's only two different URLs. http://www. and www. are the same.

However, checking external PageRank is like examining the final standings from Spring Training. It's an exhibition number. It means nothing.

Alright, thanks for the clarification. So I'm assuming the only real way to know the value is to wait for the update then? (And the different variations of a domain really are the same value, PR, etc.?)
