What is better to use adsense or ypn.

I think it depends on the site. It's easy enough to try both and see which one works better. I don't know that there's an absolute answer though I would guess most would favor AdSense.

Exactly for a simple reasons ypn is not open to all and we cannot experiment it.

I guess that would make it hard to experiment with if you can't use it.

YPN is not available in my country so I still have not use it. It has been so long, I wonder when will YPN open to more countries?

YPN takes only US residents and they take sites has us traffic only. Also I heard that since last 2 months YPN rates are going down. So I think still Adsense is better.

see google is now a days a most traffic generator site and yahoo is mostly used mail services.

And adsense is the best way to promote websites.

I suggest adsense....!!!

For me Yahoo is much much better..I make triple from YPN..
I remember the day YPN paid $20 per click not any more..

Yes, Adsense is number #1. I haven't tried YPN yet.

Jeni I think the AdSense policy changed recently and now it's ok to use both on the same page. You just have to make sure the non AdSense ad is obviously not an AdSense ad. If they look too much alike it goes against Google's TOS, but as long as they're recognizably different it's ok.

The policy used to be that you couldn't use any other contextual advertisement on the same page as AdSense, but you could use them on the same site. I think the change in the policy happened sometime in the last month or two.

Does anyone know if when yahoo will be accepting more applicants?

Thanks, vangogh--that's very interesting. I was going to try YPN on a new site instead of google to compare (still might do that but...) but now maybe I can try both because it would be tough to test from a new site until it got similar traffic amounts, which, of course, could take some substantial time and work!

I was aware that if make an ad program look very different from adsense it was just ok, but maybe it was different with ypn, anyway thanks a lot.

I didn;t know YPN is only for America, that explains why I've not heard of it.

seems a little silly, they could have tripled their money if they accepted Europe, Asia and South America.

AdSense is better since more relevant ads are served. With YPN, sometimes the ads are not related to the content... AT ALL.
