Article directory pages delisted from Google Search Engine

My article directory pages reduced from google index. Please help me.


My site 25000 page indexed on google, Last 2 month my pages reduced day by day, now only 378 pages indexed. I am registred with webmaster tools, but index not increased. I am not any changes last two month. Please check my site http://www.kokkada.com and sugest me. Which reason my pages delisted.

If you give me good idea(my problem solved), i will give you free links to my site all pages.

You don't seem to have [m]any quality links. Example ... when I type your domain into Google, here's some of what comes up:

I deactivated the links in there, but that's from spacefleet.co.uk / portal / modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=285

To the moderators, that link goes to Google's server. It's easier to just copy the URL to the cache than to break up the address ... and I'm pretty sure Google's servers aren't part of a bad neighborhood.

The porn is more likely why you're being de-listed, but Google specifically say don't do this, link exchanges, in their guidelines, so with the porn, this doesn't exactly help.

All of the links I see to your domain are either forums like this one asking for advice, directories, lots and lots of porn, and foreign-direct-investment in Serbia. But when I click your link, I see a bunch of articles about buying a cat. Er, the domestic feline type. Do you run a pornography site, a financial services agency, a semi-SEO firm, or an article directory? I don't think Google can tell.

Also, searching for your domain returns 19,000 results. You said you had 25,000 indexed pages. Google's been pruning their index in general, but this would imply you have more pages than external links? It actually costs them money to store data, and they seem to feel like the return they get from knowing so much about your site isn't worth the investment.

I didn't check copyscape ... are your articles the only copy on the internet?

When I look through your pages and check the content it looks like it's all duplicate content. You have to ask yourself why would Google want to hold duplicate content in its index. They already have the content from another site and displaying the same content twice in results doesn't offer any benefit to Google's users.

So from Google's perspective you have a very large site with little to no unique content. The site has low quality links, many from very questionable sites.

From Google's point of view there's no reason to trust your site as being one Google users would want to see in their results.

You need better links and also more original content.

Everything that Steven and Forrest said, and I'd like to add another point that kind of combines the two, but illustrates your deeper problem:

Why your site?

What makes your site unique? Nothing. All you have is an Article Dashboard script with a stock skin and a bunch of regurgitated content. There's nothing to distinguish you from anyone else.

If you want to solve your SEO problems, you'll need to solve your user problems...make your site something unique.

SEO and the second law of thermodynamics have a lot in common...

It's kind of like taking an apple, putting it out on the porch, and then leaving it alone for two months. You tell me what's going to happen. Will the apple:

a) Continue to flourish and increase in splendor?

b) Remain in it's current state, completely unchanged?

OR

c) Slowly wither and rot?

If the goal is to save the apple, then a different course of action, (beyond leaving it alone for two months) is probably called for. This being the case, I would suggest you take your site and do likewise.

So who won and gets the link? I think it's VG over the duplicate content, personally.
