Has anyone else promoting download sites got this warning. I was promoting psp and ipod sites and was told that it was considered hacking and cracking.

I also got a email from one of the psp companies letting me know that Googles was cracking down on download websites.

what was the general content of the psp and ipod sites you were promoting?
If it was anything to do with bypassing restrictions then that is hacking and against the adsense terms.

Hmmm. My latest and greatest site is a "download site," for software I've written ... and have legal rights to redistribute ... and it's been growing in Google's eyes.

If they said hacking and cracking, they probably mean allowing software downloads that aren't licensed?

Yeah they will ban sites which encourage people to breach copyright.
If it's your own software or open source software it will be ok.

I don't know what that is. But if it's something sony wouldn't want you to do to your psp it will be breaching copyright.

Many of the download sites on Clickbank are promoting p2p sharing sites.
Nowander Google want to stay clear from it.
