Hi,
now i dont know if anyone else has heard of google whacking, but i quite randomly picked up a book in my library which looked interested; Dave Gorman's GoogleWhack adventure

i have started reading it and found it really interesting.

im so tempted when i actually get some free time to try and find some.

basic rules of google whacking (all on googlewhack.com)

u have to search google with two words, trying to get one single hit.

Both words HAVE to be on dictionary.com which is shown because google links to them in the blue bar and they are underlined.

the site which is found cannot be a wordlist of anysort.

i thought this was really a funny idea, and as im reading dave gormans book, which he tells his tale, its quite fun where it leading him

anyway if anyone has any comments or has found any googlewhacks post em here...of ocurse that might defeat its as when the page is indexed it will de-googlewhack-ify the words :P (yes i made up de-googlewhack-ify!)

I looked up that site and the words on it - sadly now lots of sites have been added for those keywords so it's no longer valid

when looking about i was amazed soemone made a site called like googlewhackwhacking where because he finds it sooo sad that people find this little bit of fun from a search emngine he makes it his job to make pages so they get indexed, and make the google whacks invalid... hmmm personally i think thats sad spoiling othes fun :P

never heard of it

i keep planning to email him, but i keeo forgetting, i still aint taken his book back to th libray, becasue it reminds me XD i wannt get his other book now tho
