The Other Search Engines

I was going through couple of websites and journals about SEO.

i was struck and lets say curious to see what they done and what they think is the optimal SEO technique.

so i went to a SEO website (they offer SEO serivices and Submission Services) where it offered to analyse my meta tags for free.

so i went along with it.

and it gave me couple of reports..

this is quite interesting and something which most of the ppl whom i visited and seen and chatted with said..

they stress the importance of the relevance of the tags to the page content..

what do you think about this and what do you think is the optimal SEO technique??

do u think flooding the meta keyword with too much of data(keywords) will help you or not??

i cn one website where it had somewhere arnd 1000+ keywords in it..

Meta Keyword tag is worthless for Google. Only a couple search engines even look at it. It's good to have because of this but on some of my sites I don't even have one and I still rank high. If you are interested in learning more about SEO check our SEO Tips.

I agree with Web-Inspect's comments. Meta tags are becoming useless in terms of improving rankings.

As far as the statistics the report generated for you, disregard them because they mean nothing.

On the other hand, you never know what the search engines are going to do so I would recommend having good descriptive meta tags at least on your main pages just in case.

Meta tags...for the most part completely useless but they take just a couple seconds to include in your pages. They dont HURT anything, so may as well add them.
