The Other Search Engines

Hi guys,
Im in the process of building my new site and its a full flash site. I was wondering how the SEO would work in terms of flash. I heard that flash sites don't get indexed by google and that they perform really bad for SEO work. is that true?? if not what would be the best way to do seo for it, is it the same as a normal HTML site with meta tages, keywords etc ???

Yeah, at least if your site is HTML with headers/animations in flash.

But if you have all your content in flash, then I don't see what you can do, apart to re-code it in html with up to date css+js.

Absolutely.

If the entire site is in one flash .swf, you HAVE to run a second HTML site in parallel on the same host and use flash detection to direct visitors if flash is enabled in the UA

Thanks a lot for the link, I was also wandering about how to optimise a flash site as Search engine spiders can not understand flash so how can i get higher rank on search engines.
