I'm thinking about advertising my web design website on exactseek. They recently came out with a paid listing feature which is very similar to google adwords - only difference is the paid listing only appear in the exactseek website. The rate is pretty cheap per keyword. It is $36.00 for one year. My only concern is how much search engine traffic does exactseek actually generate? Anybody have an idea how many searches are performed on exactseek per day or month? I just want to make sure I'll be getting hits if i choose to purchase their paid listings.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Brian

I don't think any paid directories / search engines will help you half as much as putting the money into getting proper links and to bribe Google staff

I get about 1000 impressions a day for my one listing with about 10 hits a day...which would come out to 3650 hits a year. $36/3650hits comes out to .009 cents per hit. The way exact seek works is for every 3rd time your keyword is search you get listed on the first page. So, if you have 3 keywords that are the same, it is likely your listing will show almost every time a search is done. If you have 10 keywords that are the same, you will show more than once on the same page, which would increase the amount of hits you get. for example if 5 out of 10 listings are yours, you will more likely get clicked. So, I'll be adding more listings soon.
