Do you think it is worth using a paid inclusion service for a site that doesn't actually sell anything?

My site (see 1st link in sig) doesn't charge anything for it's services (yet). With that said, do you think it would be a waste of money for me to pay for inclusion in some SE's? If so, why? If not, why not?

Also, I was thinking of opening an Adwords account aswell or instead of paid inclusion. Is this a better idea?

create a business plan and ask yourself the following questions:

do i need more visitors? if yes, continue...
what is my advertising budget?
once i have regular visitors, how am I going to make money from them?
am i going to make money from clicks or impressions?

Right now I need visitors. Once I get a decent flow of repeat visitors I was planning on changing from free to fee. The thing is... I can't really afford to put a lot of money into the site right now. But there's that old saying - You have to spend money to make money!

Forget paying for site inclusion. Search Engines snatch your money to include your site in their index and you never (or just from time to time) receive visitors from them. To opem Adwords account is a better idea but sometimes you need to pay a lot for keywords you want your site to be assosiated with.
