Anyone can join my blog as a co-author, it doesn't have PR attached yet but gets some traffic from digg. It'll probably get a PR 2-3 considering the backlinks i provided.
Post a good article and get your deep backlink and i'm gonna see if i could make it popular on digg. ----- Maxloaded
That would be a good offer carofl. But I think it's not good if you let other people as co-author of your blog not unless you know them because they might spam your blog too.

I moderate the posts before being published. The new authors get a contributor status with the ability to write and submit it for preview. So that's ok.
Your articles will hit the front page of the site so that should be better than writing for article directories???
Plus i might give you an additional permanent link on my blogroll if your article is really really good.

That would be a better idea to keep spam post unpublished.
I think, article can give back links and because of that it can also be the source of getting PR. It can also help in getting good SERP.

Af far as I can remember it worked on my site. But now it doesn't work. I also don't get traffics on articles. BAcklinks "yes".

maybe if the article is in the news site it would bring traffics.But if its in article site I think it would give much.

first thing is that its a good way to get traffic but one thing you should keep on mind. you article should relevant your linking page. that means if quality in matter then traffic comes .
I think this is it! you can get backlinks through article by that your serp would be good and convert it to traffics. Maybe that's why it gives traffic.

With all the information out there and the redundancy in the information, it is getting increasingly harder to write articles - unless they are first person opinion articles. Frustrating for those of us trying to promote good content.
It's totaly depend on you article contents,if your article contents are unique and related with your theme then you can get good responce for your website by using article submission.
Article submission does help in page ranking. Through articles you can build back links which would help you in gaining high PR. The article should be content rich with good grammar.
