Yeah - The Grateful Dead's Chef/Cook is able to arrange things so when the band plays they could (when the tracks are played backwards) summon up the devil in order to have Googlebot not filter out all that lovely duplicate content being submitted here there and everywhere.

I gather most of the time he is playing "battling" Violins down in Georgia, but he takes time out to help those with duplicate content when they (The Grateful Dead) are played backwards.

I think it is much better to submit one article into one site so it wont be considered as duplicate content. It doesnt ban you for duplicate content but some webmaster might catch you as spammer

I'm not sure about this matter, but I've read that they usually spin the content and submit the article to other directories. Maybe to make the article appear unique to search engines, especially to Google.

So, submitting one article no to more than 5 directory would be good idea. Although google has not fixed the number of directory for spam assigning but also in my opinion, exceeding 5 can cause trouble.

Yes but the ezines might have a policy against this. I'd check to be safe.
