I have always wondered what the point of knowing 5 000 search engines is?
Will you optimize your website for each of them?
Only 3/4 search engines matter in term of traffic.

Edit:
there is already a thread about that

How about getting QUALIFIED visitors and a better than average conversion rate?

Toolbar PR will only earn money if you are selling links to numpties, and then of course when the useless toolbar PR disappears because of selling links, your earnings go with it.

Ok, this information is enlightening. what exactly is a "qualified visitors". also having a high percent of PPC traffic to your site than Organic, does this mean a site with this statistics is investing a lot of money for online advertising?

A qualified visitor is one that is already aware of and interested in the products/services offered by the page they going to land on.

A site operator could be spending a lot of money to gain "organic" traffic as well. A high percentage of the traffic being from PPC simply means the PPC is more successful than any other form of advertising.
The numbers will only start to mean something when the ROI of each advertising/promotion/marketing method is analysed.

At least you know that they exist and if you happen to play 'Who want to be a millionaire" and the host pop questions relating to this...you may be able to answer and win yourself a million dollar !
