The Other Search Engines

Hello Everyone,

..often when i read about Web Ranking, get on article selling those web promoting tools, like web position , web ranking or whatever else, at first sight, it look very good, i've downloaded the trial version of one of them and the report provided are very complete, good analyse of the "riht now" situation of the websites, i use it for analytic purpose, but still hesitent to buy it and use it for submitting..

...the reason for that is quite simple , every now and then u fall on an article saying u can be penalized to use that kind of stuff, who's right? does it make miracle or get u droped down the list?

Does anyone know the exact hour on that topic?
anyone have a sucess story? or an horror story?

hello there.

most of the search engines nowadays are not accepting submissions by these submission softwares.

they want you to manually submit it to them.

so sometimes the submissions by the "search engine submission" tools like web position, add web do not work...

but if you looking at getting listed at the small search engines, ffa links etc.. then these would do cos if you see add web " of the so called 1000000 (approx) sites they say they can submit more than 85% are ffa links, smaller search engines and sometimes regional search engines..

so there is no big real harm done in using these softwares. except that sometimes you may not be added by the big engines... but then that is a calculated risk which you can take and which are supposed to take at certain points.

personal point of view : i was using addweb to submit my site previously and only now in the recent 6 months i stopped using them not because i was not being accepted because i was getting way too many spam mails..

more expert comments awaited on this.

i think there is a big harm using software that submits to 100,000 of sites.

the big se account for like 85% of traffic on the web - your lucky if ffa sites account for 1%

google etc will ban you if you use these ffa because you are cheating their system - believe me if you get banned, your sites in a mess

submit to the major search engines manually

Web Position, as far as submission software goes, shouldn't get you banned.

manually is the best way to go, but if you're gonna use software, i'd use WP Gold and nothing else.

DON'T use FFA or anyting like that, or you WILL get banned.
