Hi Folks,

I am really stuck. I've finished my new site, www.webpagecreation.org and over the past four weeks I have submited it to Google.com with no results. I have no idea whats going on. I type in webpagecreation.org and it doesn't come up.

I am lost so if anyone can let me know what I should do, or how to do it I would greatly appreciate it.

Filip

P.S. Any feedback on my site is also welcomed!

hi digital808,

welcome to our forum!

do you have inbound links to your site? i mean does any other site which is listed in google have a link to your website. if no, then you must do it now.

go to google.com and search for related keywords to your website and email to websites which are related to your site and ask them to link to your website, then you can get listed in google faster.

pls. don't submit your site over and over again to google.com, submit once a month. google refresh its index once a month.

hope this helps, if any more questions please ask.

chao, xtravel

inbound links wont affect you actually getting listed on google
when did you submit your site - you could have submitted just after a major crawl which means your site should be in google around the end of the month (usually around the 25th if i remember right)

google only adds new sites to its listing at the end of every month.
if you've been submitted, you won't get in until the next time it adds new sites, at the end of october.

the best way to get listed, and get a good ranking, is to have links from other peoples sites to yours. that way, google will find your site through those links, and you'll get a better ranking.

you need to learn about SEO (search engine optimisation), which is basically how to get a good ranking on the search engines.

try www.apromotionguide.com for more information. the articles there should explain to you how to get your site to the top of google

hope that helps a little...

First of all, be patient, it took 1,5 month before my site was listed... Make sure you have some inbound links and a high keyword density; It`s also nice to have your URL listed at DMOZ.org

being listed in dmoz is basically a must. best to get listed when your site is complete and looking good though. when its complete, or when you're happy with it, submit to dmoz.org, inclusion will boost your rankings in google.

directory inclusion, and inbound links are *key* factors with google.

also important are alt image tags, keyword density, title tags, and more...like i said before, check out www.apromotionguide.com for more details on Search Engine Optimisation. I'll have articles up on my site soon detailing all the basics and the more detailed answers to questions about SEO, i'll give you a link when its all up and running.

hope that gives ya some more ideas...
