yes it has capability to beat Google. many o fits feature are really good and can give strong competition to Google. you'll see in futuer bing will be our no.1 search engine
It will take a search engine FAR more innovative than Bing to displace Google as the number 1 search engine.
I think Google will actually "gain" market share once Bing begins powering Yahoo! Bing will not get all of Yahoo!'s search traffic. I large portion of that will defect to Google I think.
Its not a impossible task though its a very long process and tough job. As Gogole as already marked its place in the internet world where as Bing has just enetered the serach engine market, so firts it will have to groud itself and then it will have to move ahead and compete with others.
It would take years on the part of Bing even to come any close to what Google has achieved. But, as a matter of fact, Bing a search engine which is useful for the users.
these features doesn't matter for visitors. the thing is only that what you writing in SE and what result you getting. Google is the best and i think no one can beat it.
I don't think Bing will ever beat Google. Google has brand name recognition and world wide support. It has been owning the business for too long, and I think it has become a household name of sorts. I do not think Google will be leaving its position any time soon.
Someone will eventually beat Google as search evolves, but it is unlikely Bing will be the one as it more or less does the same thing and most differences are cosmetic. It will be someone who uses elements of social and adapts well across the new devices.
I have heard that Bing And Yahoo will combine and come up with 'BingHoo' later this year. If they joined today, they will command a 30% share of the search engine market.
These are the Latest reports from comScore, reports USA Today:
"The roll out of what analysts have taken to referring to as BingHoo is expected sometime later this year. If the launch of BingHoo came today, it would command a 30% market share."
comScore Releases April 2010 U.S. Search Engine Rankings:
"Google Sites led the U.S. core search market in April with 64.4 percent of the searches conducted, followed by Yahoo! Sites (up 0.8 percentage points to 17.7 percent), and Microsoft Sites (up 0.1 percentage points to 11.8 percent)."
