Hi everyone, I am into optimizing my website and generally trying to get a fairly good ranking for it. My issue is the online website directories. How important is submitting my website to them ? Will submitting to those directories give a noticeable boost to my serps and PR ? If the answer is yes, to which of them do you advise me to submit ?

If you could get a link in every one it would serve you well for both PR and rankings. However that would be very costly so try to way up the pro's and the con's of the more expensive directories.
