Ask is brilliant! It's so good it's results are an angaram of Carp! (You choose what that means either "Parc rubbish on my PC" or just plain "C**P", it's your choice)

If you are using a version of Windows Ask's results are the most likely to infect your system if you do not have half decent defences.

To summarise - Don't worry about it "Google is 1", Yahoo and Bing are 2 and 3, worry not beyond that as it all happens any way!

Submit sites "What year are you back in?"

most people preferred google, yahoo and bing...if you do optimize for this SE..you can also have chance getting good rankings in other SE's like ask, aol, altavista etc...

I wonder if people are joking here. I don't think about ask.com seriously when concerning optimization. I guess only few people use it for business.

Yes I also think why ask is getting much importance here! Now Only Google is the search engine which can send the maximum number of traffic to your site. I don't know really anything about the importance of ask search engine.

Just submit your site to all the search engines, ask does not have nearly as many users as google, yahoo or bing does but it does not hurt to list it.

Why! There is no need to submit your site these days! Just get a link online somewhere and the job's a good un!

In fact I once got a page 1 Google ranking for a search term (Not the site name or anything) before I had finished the site and before it had a link anywhere, go figure that one.

no i don't submit my site to ask.com search engine. Ask search engine is not popular at all. Just optimize your site to other search engines such as google, yahoo and bing.

I don't focus so much on being ranked at Ask.Com; what is importrant to me is to have good SERP in Google, Yahoo, and Bing. If ever I rank at other search engine is just an additional source of traffics.

In my opinion Ask search engine also brings a lot of traffic to your website. But Google , yahoo etc are most effective in bringing traffic. So you can concentrate on Google or yahoo.

Ask has very small market share. So I believe most of us just ignore this search engine.

Ask is also a good search engine but for me, I'll still focus optimizing my site for google and yahoo. I believe that if you did it for google, then it would be also applicable in ask.

And this is also my point. Doing good on your site is fair enough that search engine will find your site.

Being an SEO i never used ask for optimizing my site and i think most of SEO members only use Google, yahoo and bing for optimizing their sites.
