There is no such thing as a "meta title"
but if you mean that Yahoo! search is showing the title and description for the site using the information from the Yahoo! directory, rather than the ones from the page, that's not something "new". Yahoo! search has done that for many years now (since Yahoo! launched a search engine in fact!
In January/February 2007 Yahoo! implemented a way to stop it happening.
Just add
HTML Code:
<meta name=”robots” content=”NOYDIR”>
<meta name=”slurp” content=”NOYDIR”>
To the pages, only the "home" page should really need it, but it won't harm on every page.
