esmsfun, there is no need to do that. If your site is designed properly, all search engines will pick up your pages for indexing without extra submissions

Although, submitting your site might get your site indexed quicker. If the search engine you are submitting your site to, just put in, submit site to bing/submit site to ask. Etc. etc.

Nope. Sitemap is only a pointer for the search engines about your pages. It's not going to help you to get more traffic.
