The Other Search Engines

I've managed to get my site's homepage in Yahoo (ranking 8th). It took me an hour to set it up and I was listed in about 24 hours.

I've documented exactly what to do in my blog (Posting: Can RSS get me listed in Yahoo for free?) - URL in my sig file.

Any one can do this!

Hmmm interesting.

Thing is Yahoo only charges for submissions to the actual directory pages. Not for the search engines results.

I have dozens of sites listed on Yahoo, some ranking very high on the SERP's and I never paid them anything. The sites are not listed on the directory though - but that a totally seperate thing.

I never did actually. They get crawled by the Yahoo bot. All you need to do is have links to them from other sites.
